Our hearts go out to our neighbors in the Borough of Butler following the devastating fire on Main Street last night. To those who have lost their homes, businesses, or personal belongings: please know that your friends in Kinnelon are standing with you during this incredibly difficult time. The Kinnelon Democratic Committee would like to extend our deepest thanks to the heroic first responders who worked through the night: - The Butler Fire Department & Police - The Kinnelon Volunteer Fire Company - Mutual Aid units from our surrounding Morris and Passaic County towns - EMS and Tri-Boro First Aid Squads Your bravery and coordination prevented further tragedy and kept our communities safe. We are currently in contact with local officials to determine the most effective way to provide relief. Whether it is through donations, supplies, or volunteer efforts, we are dedicated to joining the recovery mission.
