Dear All,

As we close out Summer 2026 and welcome Fall, I want to highlight some important dates.

Today, September 10 marks 1 year since the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk. Please join me in remembering this modern hero of the Christian faith and of our great country.

This Sunday, September 13, at 9:30AM KBC will commence Adult & Teen Bible Study and Kids Sunday School (12 & under). I encourage you to come out as we take an in depth look in the scriptures at various characters, topics, and books of the Bible. II Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” It is a blessing to dig into and study God's word systematically and to do it together in church. Our first series for the Adults & Teens will be a character study of Joseph - one of the greatest pictures of Jesus Christ in the OT. Please arrive on time (or beforehand for coffee!) as we will start promptly at 9:30AM.

Saturday, September 19 at 12 noon is our church picnic at the pavilion at Silas Condict Park. The Church will provide meats for the grill, and there will be sign-up sheets for sides, desserts and drinks in the lobby this Sunday. Please invite friends, family, and neighbors to come and meet your church family.

Lukie's Fall Festival - the annual fundraiser for SMA in honor of Keith's nephew - will be held this year on Saturday, October 10 in Pen Argyl, PA. See additional details in the flyer attached. My family and I attended last year and had a wonderful time and met some fantastic people. I welcome you to support this effort by attending, with a gift, and with your prayers.
